Virtual Conference: AREBT National Conference 2024 – 3rd to 4th December
Welcome to the Association for Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (AREBT) National Conference, 2024. This year the conference theme is: Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy: Theory, Research and Practice.
This virtual conference will be held on Tuesday 3rd to Wednesday 4th December. On the 4th we will be holding workshops.
We are delighted to welcome a line-up of experts in the field of REBT who will be speaking and/or facilitating a workshop at our Annual AREBT Conference. Dr Jamie Barker, Denise Christy, Edelweiss Collings, Prof Windy Dryden, Jo Hensel, Dr Stephen Palmer, Dr Siobhain O’Riordan, Paul Young.

On the 3rd December Dr Stephen Palmer is giving a keynote titled: The Application of a Psychoeducational, Rational Emotive and Cognitive Behavioural Climate Informed Counselling and Coaching Approach to Tackle Debilitating Climate Change Worries, Ecoanxiety and Ecodepression.
On the 4th December, there is a Workshop titled: Back to basics. Learning from the fields of ecopsychology, climate and environmental psychology research to inform our outdoor rational emotive and cognitive behavioural counselling and coaching practice. The trainers are Dr Stephen Palmer PhD & Dr Siobhain O’Riordan PhD
